Redwood Glen 50th Anniversary
Our 50th anniversary celebration continues...
Did you miss our June 28th celebration?
You have a second opportunity to be part of our 50th anniversary on July 12th.

On Saturday, June 28th, Redwood Glen marked its 50th anniversary with an all-day party.

It was a day of singing and sharing...

celebrating all that God has done, will do, and will continue to do in our ministry.

Thanks to all 53 volunteers and the over 500 people who came to make it a memorable day, a "perfect day," as Midge Morash, Dr. Shepherd's daughter and our honored guest, called it.  At our 50th Anniversary Banquet, Executive Director Jay Nordgaard introduced the Charles R. Shepherd Legacy Circle to honor Midge's father.

With 115 junior highers plus 19 staff currently at camp, and 115 youth plus 33 staff scheduled for YMAD next week, with 68 at Indian Point for Junior Adventure, we have our hands full, as you can imagine. Thus, we will provide a full account of our 50th anniversary events (and more pictures) in the August edition of our e-newsletter, Reflections.

In case you missed it (or simply want to celebrate with us again), a second anniversary celebration is coming on Saturday, July 12th.

The Youth Music And Drama 25th Anniversary performance will usher us into the day, followed by a BBQ lunch and an afternoon full of activity for all in the family.  There will be a bounce house and face painting, along with historical displays and camp tours.  The pool and camp store will be open.  It will be a wonderful day to catch up with friends, old and new, and share together the blessing that Redwood Glen was, is, and continues to be.

More information is below.  We hope that you will make plans to join us on July 12th as we continue to celebrate the blessings of God and give thanks to you, our Redwood Glen family.  You have truly made it 50 wonderful years of ministry.
