READY OR NOT, HERE JESUS COMES
advent event   Let every heart prepare Him room Pastors Conference
Do you need to make room for Jesus in your "inn" this Advent season?

Give yourself a gift (an early Christmas gift), and join us at Redwood Glen for a one-day spiritual retreat designed to connect you with the peaceful beauty of Christ, before the hectic pace of Christmas.

Wednesday, November 12th
9:00am to 4:00pm

Our facilitator, Russ Ikeda of Emmaus Ministries of Silicon Valley specializes in journeying alongside pastors and church leaders in order to deepen their spiritual life. Our optional overnight the night before will help you wake rested and ready for the day (with breakfast delivered to your room!)

Is Wednesday your staff meeting day? If so, have everyone come and be refreshed and ready for the weeks to come. And if not, make Wednesday, November 12th a staff development day, and give your entire team a day to spiritually prepare before the holy day rush.

This event is not just for pastors, but for church staff and church leaders also.
Save by registering by October 31st.
A downloadable registration form is available here.

"I know from my own pastoral experience what a crazy time of year this can be. Christmas often doesn't really start for us until December 26th, when all the "work" of Advent is over. One of my minister coaching clients once told me, 'I don't ever want to have a December like that again.' Christmas doesn't have to be that way. Come prepare yourself before the season begins and be ready to celebrate the coming Christ."

LEARNING AND LEADING WITH A DIVINE DESIGN
winter event   Third annual Pastors Conference - February 16-18, 2009 Pastors Conference
Do ever get great ideas from other pastors that simply don't work for you? Ever wonder why suggestions for improving your prayer life fall flat? Or why certain leaders don't seem to "click" with your personality?

God has created each of us uniquely, and that affects both the way we live out our spiritual walk and how we minister as pastors and church leaders. We'll be exploring these themes over the three days of our 2009 Pastor's Conference.

DIVINE DESIGN:
Leading the Way God Created Me

will be held Monday, February 16th through Wednesday, February 18th
at Redwood Glen in our Siden Conference Center.

Besides the usual great food and comfortable accommodations, inspiring worship and personal sharing with other pastors, you get an opportunity to balance learning and input time with rest and care for yourself.

Our key presenter is Rev. Scott Wylie, pastor of the Susanville United Methodist Church. Scott is finishing his doctoral dissertation on personality types and pastoral leadership this year. In addition, spiritual directors will be available to help you explore your uniqueness and how you can best connect with Christ on a daily basis.

There are discounts for early registration, so don't wait!
Download the registration form here. We hope to see you in February!
