|Children's MAD Camp|
In John 4, the Samaritan woman asks Jesus a question, "How do you quench your thirst?" Kids today have lots of options for finding gratification: video games, sports, dance classes, the internet, cell phones, school, friends, and the list goes on. In time, these things can seem dry and empty, and leave them thirsting for more. As he did for the Samaritan woman, Jesus offers us something more, something better, something fulfilling - the gift of "Living Water" through a relationship with Him. This summer, we will discover how to find spiritual refreshment through Jesus Christ. Is it time for you to "rethink your drink"?
Jesus answered, "But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:14)
At Redwood Glen, children and youth will experience what it means to have their lives rooted in Jesus Christ. Among the beauty of the redwoods, our multi-day resident camps provide a safe environment for young people to build relationships with others and with God. They will be instructed in God's Word, and have a fun-time experiencing true Christian community. Games, activities, singing, hiking, swimming, campfire, and creek-stomping are some of the activities which will create a life-time of memories. In small cabin groups, our trained volunteer staff and counselors will live out the love of Christ and provide support as faith decisions are considered and made.
There is no better investment in the life of a young person than a week of camp at Redwood Glen. With affordable registration fees, we have opportunities for children and youth of all ages. See left column to register online, and check out the Parent Resource Center for more information. Camperships are also available.
