Our Siden Conference Center sets Redwood Glen apart as a premier, convenient location for conferences, retreats, and educational training for churches and non-profit groups in the San Francisco Bay Area. Surrounded by the beauty of the redwoods, our hotel-style guest rooms, spacious meeting room, complimentary amenities, and restaurant quality food served hotel-style will help make your event a highlight for your group.
With 22 guests rooms, Siden Conference Center allows groups of up to 64 people the perfect environment to meet, eat, and sleep in one facility in a private getaway. Each of the 22 hotel-style rooms in our Siden Conference Center provide guests a private balcony or patio, separate sink, shower, and toilet area, reading chairs, a table, night stand, electric radio alarm clock, wall-mounted reading lights, and two comfortable beds. Linen and towels are provided. One handicapped room is available. An elevator is available to provide access to our second floor meeting room or our first floor dining room.
The Siden Conference Room can comfortably seat 100 people in conference style. Though our Conference Center can only sleep 64 people, groups will often add camp facility options to accommodate more people, and create an alternative option for those on a tighter budget. Through a wall of windows, a spectacular mountain view of redwoods creates the ideal get-away setting. A large stone fire place and coffee station with an abundant selection of teas bring added comforts for guests. A microwave, small refrigerator, sink, and long counter are also provided. A wall-to-ceiling pull-out accordion door can divide the room in half for smaller break-out groups. A piano, podium, a basic sound system with two ceiling mounted speakers, music stands, and three microphones with stands are provided, along with a TV, DVD, overhead screen, dry erase wipe board, and markers. An ample supply of seminar-style tables are also available. Upon request, an overhead projector, a LCD projector, an AV cart, and flip chart paper with markers are provided.
Our Siden Dining Room, located on the first floor of our Siden Conference Center, provides guests restaurant-quality meals, which are served hotel-style and brought to your table by our friendly Food Service staff. With table cloths, cloth napkins, and a full table setting, a Siden dinner typically consists of a green salad, fresh baked bread, vegetables, an entree, and a dessert, with water, juice, coffee, and tea. Special meals are available upon request for vegetarians, vegans, and those with special dietary restrictions or allergies. With a reputation for high quality, good variety, and excellent service, our food service staff strives to meet the requests of our guest groups. A Sunday Brunch is also available. Seated around circular tables, our Conference Center Dining Room can accommodate approximately 55 guests. Meals at Smith Dining Hall are an option for groups lodging at Siden which are larger than 55 or on a more limited budget.
A foosball table, ping pong table, reading nook, vending drink machine, ice machine, and phone are also available for the exclusive use of groups at the Conference Center. Though there is no cell phone service at Redwood Glen, a phone is available on the first floor of our Conference Center for use by guests, along with free wireless wi-fi access.
