Friends of Redwood Glen,

Redwood Glen lives to see another day!

After applying for both the Payroll Protection Plan (PPP) loan and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) through the Small Business Administration, Redwood Glen received monies from both this past week. We thank God for His continued provision.

The PPP loan is the one that can be forgiven and is to be used on making payroll. This gives the furloughed staff a chance to work. Most of the work will be taking care of deferred maintenance on the camp and to prepare for what might be the new norm for overnight camps and conference centers.

The EIDL will take care of some loose ends and help get us through what looks like a very quiet summer.

It’s difficult to make any plans when we don’t know how long the Shelter In Place order will last. And if there is a surge of COVID-19 cases that pop up; what then? In spite of these uncertainties, our staff will continue to work on contingency plans for when we can open back up.

We are making it to another day, but there is still so much to do and the financing needed to get it done. Your help is still needed. Any donation, large or small is of great help to us here. We want Redwood Glen to do more than survive a quiet summer. We want to be around a year from now to be able to minister to every person who comes to the camp, to share the love of God in this corner of his creation.

Thank you for your continued support of Redwood Glen. It means so much.
