Happy Thanksgiving

On this eve of Thanksgiving, we want to express our gratitude, once again, to you who have helped Redwood Glen, a sparkling spot in God’s creation, continue operating while we work on becoming water independent.

It’s been a long road with many twists and turns, and there is more work to do. But we know we are heading in the right direction and we will complete the job . . .  on schedule.

Each of you are a special part of the Redwood Glen family, and as we sit down for our Thanksgiving meal tomorrow, we are imagining a family of thousands sitting here in the Smith Dining Hall, holding hands, giving thanks to God for all his provisions.

Redwood Glen is Finding Water

Help us treat it to make it potable.

Yes. Redwood Glen is finding water. We have drilled four wells of which three are producing water. The picture above is the well up behind Retreat Lodge and is going through its 72 hour pump test to determine the quantity and flow rate. After the pump tests are completed on all the wells, the results will be sent to the State Water Board for analysis and we begin the project of building the treatment plant.

We are now over halfway to our goal of $400,000. We’ve collected slightly more than $230,000 in cash and donated goods. But we’re not done yet.

If you have already donated to our “Help Save Redwood Glen” Water Fund, those of us here at Redwood Glen want to say thank you so very much for your help. We really do appreciate it. Would you consider making another donation to help us get the treatment plant built?

If you haven’t yet taken the opportunity to give to the “Help Save Redwood Glen” Water Fund, would you consider doing that now? Your gift will help us become water independent that come the summer time, we can provide the best camp experience to all the children and youth that visit us.

Click on the “Help Save Redwood Glen” button below to make your donation. And again, thanks. It means so much.
