The Summer Camp that was….

We are sorry to announce that Redwood Glen’s summer children and youth camps are cancelled for 2020. We will miss sharing crafts and archery, campfires and s’mores, music and devotions, and all those other special camp experiences. However, it is our commitment to follow science, regulations, and conscience in dealing with the Covid-19 virus. It is also our commitment to God to serve you and your families for your health in all ways. If you have a child registered, we will be in contact with you shortly regarding options on refunding your deposit.

We are keeping our distance this summer. But be sure…we’ve got big plans for sharing summer 2021 with you!

A way to donate to Redwood Glen without spending a dime.

Smile.Amazon.com

Redwood Glen is registered with Amazon.com as a non-profit charity, so when you shop through “smile.amazon.com” , a portion of your purchase comes back to Redwood Glen. All you need do is logon to smile.amazon.com (instead of the regular amazon.com). It will look exactly the same. You can then designate Redwood Glen as your charity of choice, and for all your purchases, Amazon.com will donate a percentage of your bill to Redwood Glen.

A big thank you goes out to those of you who have already shopped this way as Redwood Glen has been receiving quarterly checks from Amazon.com. You can call us here at the camp if you ave any questions as to how to do this.

Redwood Glen: Where God Transforms People

Redwood Glen exists to create impact for the mission of Christ. One of the true joys I’ve had being a pastor for so long is watching young people grow up and become Christian leaders themselves. Camille Cintas is one example. Here she is as a young camper (the middle one) at a Redwood Glen children’s camp years ago.

She and her twin sister (Carmen) attended our camps regularly. She began to play musical instruments and helped lead worship at camp.

Now she is a college graduate and on staff at Santa Clara First Baptist Church as its new Director of Worship. She has become a gifted musician, excellent singer, and inspiring worship leader.

I thank God that Redwood Glen was part of the vital experiences God used to transform her and become what she is today. And she is one of many leadership stories that have emerged from our camp. Thanks for your support in creating such leaders in the past and more in the future!
